A new leader for Halifax District RCMP.
Chief Superintendent Jeffrey Christie is now Officer in Charge.
He returns to the East Coast after working in the Northwest Territories as the Criminal Operations Officer.
In a release, C/Supt. Christie says he’s pleased to be back, as he has family roots in Nova Scotia.
He says he’s looking forward to building stronger relationships with community leaders.
C/Supt. Christie has been an officer for 32 years.
