A Thunder Bay woman is splitting a five million dollar jackpot from the Lotto 6.49 Classic Jackpot from October 26th.

Margo Pylypchuk says she just recently started playing the lottery more often.

“I chose my own numbers, and have been playing them for a while,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings.”

When she compared her numbers to the winning numbers she and her husband were both stunned.

She plans to use her winnings to support some charities, travel and help out her family, noting the win “hasn’t really sunk in yet.”

The winning ticket was purchased at Shell on Red River Road.
