The Polar Plunge is back in Fort Frances.

The Voyageur Lions Club is again inviting people to take a jump into Rainy Lake in support of charity on New Year’s Day.

Organizer Bill Michl says they tried to stage a run into Rainy Lake in November but ice conditions weren’t safe enough.

Half of the money raised by the jumpers goes to the Lions Club, with the rest going to a charity of their choosing.
