New Year’s Levee To Be Held In Town, Municipality Of Yarmouth

By Kevin Northup Dec 20, 2022 | 11:59 AM

Looking for something to do on New Year’s Day?

Both the Town and Municipality of Yarmouth will host a Levee on January 1st.

Mayor Pam Mood says theirs will be at town hall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“Lots of great food, and people will be serving it this year. It’s a great way to ring in the new year, it’s a great tradition. Council will be there along with some staff,” says Mood.

There will also be live music, with donations being accepted for the Yarmouth Food Bank.

She says it will be a good start to 2023.

“Come on in to town hall and you can meet some people in the neighbourhood. We’re excited about this.”

The municipality’s Levee will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Carleton Fire Hall, with donations to the Carleton School Breakfast Program.
