Dryden GM Donates 132 Turkeys To Food Bank

By Mike Ebbeling Dec 16, 2022 | 11:42 AM

Families in need in our area will be able to have a turkey dinner this year.

The Dryden Food Bank has received 132 turkeys totaling $5,100 from Dryden GM.

General Sales Manager Dustin Lupien says “We feel that it’s important that we can help the food bank supply turkeys for all the families that are in need this time of year. We’re always happy to do something. This year it’s the turkeys and hopefully it helps them out in a big way.”

Lupien adds, “This is one of the many things that we kind of champion in the community and as an employer here we’re just happy to be a part of it all.”

Food Bank Manager Al Huckabay says he is grateful for the donation by the Beyak Automotive Group.

“Our clients are struggling with food insecurity and just the economy right now so turkeys are probably the last thing on their list to be able to purchase because of the cost of food. So this will really help put them over the moon for the Christmas season.”

You are asked to call the food bank on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of next week at 223-3881 between 9:00 am and 11:30 am to be added to the list.

Pick-up will occur in the afternoon.
