Brace for a lot of snow over the next day or two.

A storm that has impacted much of the western U.S. has moved into our region.

Forecasts call for as much as 10 to 20 cm of snow by the time the system moves out of the area late tomorrow.

That has prompted weather advisories on both sides of the border.

Heavy snow is expected to be mixed with rain later in the day.

It could make travel difficult.

Area highways are now snow covered, and plows are out

Motorists should still expect hazardous winter driving conditions, so adjust travel plans accordingly.
