More kids will be able to stay warm this winter.

The annual Coats For Kids campaign brought in 128 snowsuits for 12 different schools in the Tri-Counties.

Local organizer Carmen Coffin says they teamed up with Yarmouth Mazda this year.

“They sent it to their head office, Mazda Canada, and we got the Mazda Local Legends grant of $5,000, which we turned back into snowsuits for all the kids,” says Coffin.

She says some will go to Juniper House, the Boys and Girls Club and Parents Place, and some will be used to get a head start on next year.
