Argyle's 'net-zero energy' municipal building in Tusket (Acadia News)

A chance to have your say on wind turbine development in Argyle.

The municipality says with increased interest in southwest Nova Scotia, they are looking at changing regulations to allow more wind energy development.

Proposed amendments include allowing development 1 km from existing dwellings and on lots that don’t have frontage on public roads.

The public is invited to attend a hearing tomorrow night at 6:30 p.m. at the administration building in Tusket.

If you can’t attend you can submit responses or questions by emailing ssurette@munargyle.com or by commenting on the Facebook livestream during the meeting.
