Novemburger Serves Another Strong Year

By Adam Riley Dec 12, 2022 | 12:02 PM

In its 4th year of existence Novemburger has broken its previous year’s total again, with 11,500 burgers sold.

Meaning more than $23,000 is going towards the United Way of Thunder Bay.

Over the course of November diners in Thunder Bay had a choice of 14 restaurants who crafted their own unique burgers, with $2 from each burger purchased going to the charity.

Once again the Prospector Burger Barn sold the most burgers, 3,189, making it another record set since 2019. They were followed up by Beefcake’s Burger Factory and The Sal.

However it was Beefcake’s Burger Factory that took first place in the Top Novemburger of the Year, a fan voted award, taking almost 40 percent of the total votes cast. The Sal took second place in that competition followed up by Norteños Taqueria.

While the money is going to the United Way it will be directed towards local food related programs and initiatives which provide nutritious foods to those in need.
