Kenora City Council has hammered out it’s meeting schedule for the next year.

City clerk Heather Pihulak says after consulting with all members of council they’ve decided to move their meetings by one day.

“We’ve had preliminary discussions just on the council meeting dates and times and council has proposed moving to Wednesday meetings,” Pihulak reported at the Committee of the Whole meeting this week.

“So council would meet on Wednesdays, Committee of the Whole at 9:00 and the third Wednesday at 5:00 for (the open) Council.”

While the Committee of the Whole time is staying the same, the Open meeting is being changed from its usual 12 time slot on Tuesdays.
