Dalhousie students want money back over missed class time due to strike

Students at Dalhousie are looking to get some money back over lost class time because of a strike at the university.

A peitition calling for compensation to make up for missed class time has 3,000 signatures.

A four-week long strike by part-time instructors, teacher assistants and markers was resolved in November.

They were seeking better pay from the univrsity in a new contract.

The petition is being led by the student union, they want a tuition rebate of 40 per cent for courses impacted by the strike
