A 33-year-old man from Poodiac has died in a single-vehicle crash in Jeffries Corner, south of Sussex.

RCMP were called to a single-vehicle crash on Route 111 in Jeffries Corner on Thursday around 10:30 p.m.

The driver was the only person in the vehicle and died from his injuries.

Mounties believe the driver lost control of the vehicle and it rolled several times before hitting a ditch.

Members of the Hammond-Jeffries Fire Department, Ambulance New Brunswick, and a member of the provincial coroner’s office were also on scene.

An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the man’s exact cause of death.

An RCMP collision reconstructionist is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
