A significant amount of suspected crack cocaine, along with cash and drug trafficking equipment have been seized and three individuals remain in custody following a drug bust by Thunder Bay Police on the city’s south side.

Members of the intelligence unit executed a search warrant at a Victoria Avenue East home last evening, the warrant was obtained through an investigation of ongoing drug trafficking at the residence.

The estimated value of the drugs and cash is 65 thousand and 8 thousand dollars respectively.

Two Thunder Bay residents, a 42 year old man and a 33 year old woman along with a 28 year old man from Brampton face the following charges each:

• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000

All three appeared in court Friday and were remanded into custody.
