2nd Degree Murder Charges Laid In Whitefish Bay Death

Two people have been charged in connection to the death of a Whitefish Bay First Nation’s man earlier year.

45 year old Buifford Cowley was reported missing in early September, and police found his remains in the area of Whitefish Bay four days later.

After a post-mortem was conducted, the OPP have laid second degree murder charges against 29 year old Timothy Constant Lowe of Whitefish Bay.

He has also been charged with an indignity to a human body along with 23 year old Sierra Cowley of Kenora.

She has also been charged with accessory to murder after the fact.

They’ll appear in Kenora Court today to face the charges.
