Canada’s World Cup dreams are over.
They fell 4-1 to Croatia yesterday in their second game of the tournament, which means they won’t be moving on to the knockout stage.
It was still a history making day, as Alphonso Davies scored Canada’s first ever goal at the men’s World Cup.
That goal opened the scoring in the match, but Croatia came roaring back and led 2-1 by halftime.
The Canadians wrap up the tournament against Morocco on Thursday.
