The 2022 Adopt-a-Book campaign ends this week.

The last day to donate to the Western Counties Regional Library fundraiser is Wednesday.

Ian White with the library says they’ve surpassed their goal financially, raising over 26 thousand dollars.

“The dollar value of adoptions this campaign is higher, but books are more expensive than in 2020,” says White.

As of last week, they have just under 860 books, but need more to reach the 928 mark set last time.

To adopt a book, visit the library’s website or drop in to one of their ten branches.
