The St. Thomas Aquinas senior boys volleyball team has advance t0 the semi-finals of the All-Ontario “A” championships in Sudbury.

The Saints went through the round-robin undefeated and finished first in their pool with a 4-0 record.

In quarter-final action last night, TA defeated Woodstock in three straight sets, 26-24, 25-20, 25-21.

That sets up a semi-final game this morning against the number one seed in the OFSAA tournament Hamilton Christian.

The St. Thomas Aquinas senior girls weren’t as fortunate, losing all three of their games at the OFSAA “A” finals in Walkerton.

In their final game yesterday, they lost to the host team from Walkerton 40-25.
