The Sackville Emergency department is closing at 2:30 pm Friday afternoon due to a physician shortage.
It will reopen as usual at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning.
During this time, all patients requiring medical care outside service hours will need to seek treatment at another hospital or from another healthcare provider.
Horizon Health Network recommends other options for non-urgent care – including your primary care provider, pharmacist, after-hours clinics, virtual care or Tele-Care 811.
But if you are experiencing a medical emergency, you should call 911.
