The management plan for Cape Breton Highlands National Park was recently tabled in parliament. Every 10 years, the review of these management plans is a requirement of the Canada National Parks Act.
This new management plan will allow Parks Canada to protect an important example of natural heritage in Canada, collaborate with Indigenous Peoples, and provide an opportunity for Canadians to experience and discover our environment in new and innovative ways.
