Science North is doing a special presentation at the Discovery Center this week.

Helena Devins is on the board of directors and says Science North employees will be involved in a 30 minute television taping.

“The Thunder Bay outreach team and a few other the other staff that are on the Northwest Expansion team will be in town,” says Devins.

“So on the 27th, similar to the shows we saw in the summer and in previous years, there is going to be a 30 minute science show.”

Devins is encouraging anyone who wants to be involved in the science show to come out early.

“We’re inviting families to come out and join in the science show and as well as experience the nature exchange we already have there as well as the Think Hub.”

The event will take place at noon on Sunday but Devins is encouraging anyone who wants to take part to show up at least a half an hour early to sign release forms to be involved in the TV show.

Devins adds that Science North also plans to put a float in the Santa Claus Parade on Saturday.
