Preparations are underway for this year’s Santa Claus Parade in Fort Frances.

It is again being organized by the Kiwanis Club of Fort Frances.

President McKenna Begin says it will take place on November 26.

“We are doing awesome so far. Right now, we have approximately 18 floats signed up. We’re hoping to get a few more. Last year we had a total of 30,” says Begin.

Begin says parade-goers will also see a new float for Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus.

“His elves have been very hard at work getting his float together. We have a brand-new float for him this year, so it’ll be very exciting.”
