Police are investigating a break and enter involving a theft of a firearm in Belliveaus Cove.

On November 12 around 11 a.m. Meteghan RCMP responded to a report of a break-in to a residential garage on Hwy. 1 in Belliveaus Cove.

A Remington hunting rifle with a scope, hunting gear and lobster, valued at $3,000, were stolen sometime overnight.

The investigation is ongoing, anyone with information is asked to contact Meteghan RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
