Fuel Prices Will Likely Fall In N.B.

By Allan Dearing Nov 16, 2022 | 12:55 PM

An industry expert thinks fuel prices will tumble in New Brunswick overnight.

Dan McTeague, president of Canadians for Affordable Energy, believes gasoline will decrease by a few cents per litre.

However, there is some uncertainty since the interrupter clause already dropped the price of gasoline by nine cents today.

McTeague expects diesel and furnace oil could also decrease by as much as ten cents per litre.

The current maximum prices:

  • Regular self-serve is $1.807 per litre
  • Diesel is $2.716
  • Furnace oil is $2.500.

Prices will be adjusted at midnight by the Energy and Utilities Board.
