Police in Halifax are looking for help, once again, in solving a crime at the public gardens.

It’s was a summer of head scratching vandalism at the scenic park. More than 30 trees were targeted, cut, and had bark ripped off at the scenic downtown space.

The attack happened in July, and many of the trees were 50 to 200 years old.

No arrests have been made and there’s a $50,000 reward for information on the vandalism.

A fire was also set two months later at Horticulture Hall, the building is over 175 years old.

Police say it was a case of arson.

Surveillance camera have since been installed around the gardens.
