We’re learning more about a threats investigation that caused two schools in Yarmouth to be put under hold and secure last week.

Yarmouth Town RCMP have charged 25-year-old Jamie Avery D’Entremont of Meteghan Centre with Uttering Threats.

Around 8:25 a.m. on Friday, police received a report of a man making threats to a person known to him and concerned the NSCC Burridge Campus.

The campus was placed on hold and secure, as was Meadowfields Community School, which is near the NSCC campus.

The man, D’Entremont, was located at a home in Meteghan Centre.

He was arrested, remanded into custody and appeared in Yarmouth Provincial Court today.
