The Kenora U13 Thistles had a good weekend at their own tournament at the Rec. Center.

The Thistles went undefeated in the Challenge Cup and beat International Falls 7-3 in gold medal game.

Meanwhile, it was a tough weekend for the Kenora U18 AAA Thistles.

The Thistles were beaten 5-3 on Saturday in Winnipeg by the Thrashers.

Hudson Favreau had two goals in that game, giving him four in three games.

On Friday, the Thistles were dumped 6-1 by the Winnipeg Bruins.

Carter Peters had the lone Thistles goal in that game.

The Thistles are back in action on Wednesday as they take on the Bruins at home once again.
