A 19-year-old woman has been charged in connection with two break and enter on Germain Street.

Shortly before 10 a.m. on Thursday, Saint John Police officers responded to a
break and enter in progress at a home on Germain Street.

A person told police they came home to find a woman in their apartment.

The suspect took off but the person who called police was able to provide a description.

A little more than thirty minutes later, police were informed a second person had called police saying a woman was inside another apartment in the same building.

The second caller was able to watch their apartment from another location through video surveillance.

A woman was arrested in the area of Canterbury Street and Duke Street.

She was found with stolen items from the second break and enter.

The woman, who gave police a false name at first , was wanted on an outstanding warrant for missing a court appearance.

She was held for a court appearance on Friday.
