Police are holding the scene at a Brent Street address as part of a sudden death investigation.
A sudden death at a Brent Street home on Tuesday has become the city’s 13th homicide of 2022.
First responders were called to the home shortly after 1am following reports of an injured male.
When police arrived Thunder Bay Fire Rescue and Superior North EMS were already on scene, and the adult male was pronounced deceased.
He has been identified as 31-year-old Corey Glen Ashley Belesky.
Investigators could be seen canvassing the neighbourhood for witnesses and are appealing to members of the public who may have footage from the Brent Street area between the hours of 6 p.m. Monday October 31st and 3 a.m. Tuesday November 1st.
Members of the Major Crimes and Forensic Identification Units continue to investigate.
