Sailors and soldiers will be highly visible on the water in the Greater Saint John area over the weekend.

HMCS Brunswicker will host Exercise Fundy Torrent with sailors from across the country.

People will notice an increased military presence and boat operations.

The exercise is focused on small boat operations, communications and operational support in a simulated scenario.

The purpose of the exercise is to maximize the use of training assets and time to simulate a domestic flood response scenario.

Members of the public are encouraged to interact with the sailors and soldiers when they encounter them on the water.
