Thunder Bay Police are investigating a sudden death which took place on Brent Street early this morning.

Officers were called shortly after 1 a.m. to the residence to reports of an injured male, when they arrived paramedics with Superior North E-M-S were already on scene, however the adult male inside the home was pronounced deceased on scene.

Members of the Major Crimes and Forensics Units are involved as part of the investigation.

Officers could be seen this morning canvassing the surrounding homes and speaking with residents.

A post-mortem examination is being scheduled and next of kin are currently being notified.
