Steve Berry, Deputy Mayor of Yarmouth (Town of Yarmouth)

Two more years for Deputy Mayor Steve Berry.

Yarmouth town council unanimously voted for Berry to continue his role at a meeting last week.

He says the support means a lot.

“I’m just happy to be here and doing what I can for the people of Yarmouth. I’m very grateful and very appreciative, and happy to be back for another two years,” says Berry.

Berry is very involved in hosting community meals and fundraisers.

He says it’s great to be in a position to make a difference in the community.

“I think it’s a great honour to be able to do it. It means a lot to have the support of the people. Anytime we need support, we always get more than we need.”

He says a big focus for the next two years is housing, mental health initiatives, and making sure the people of Yarmouth have a voice.
