By Steve MacArthur Oct 30, 2022 | 6:59 PM

The two sides involved at the strike at Dalhousie will try to iron out a deal this week.

The university and CUPE are set to return to the bargaining table on Wednesday.

Some unionized instructors and teaching assistants have been on strike for nearly two weeks.

The university says Wednesday and Thursday have been set aside for talks to try a close the pay gap between them.

CUPE Local 3912 represent hundreds of workers at Dalhousie. They have been working on a contract for more than two years.

The university is open but some courses and labs have been suspended.
