Summer-Like Weather Abruptly Ends

By Allan Dearing Oct 28, 2022 | 6:00 AM

It feels more like fall instead of summer across southern New Brunswick today.

Environment Canada says a cold front has pushed a tropical air mass out of our region.

Meteorologist Jill Maepea says the normal high for late October is 10°C and the low is near zero.

“The cooler temperatures will actually be closer to normal as opposed to well above normal,” notes Maepea.

“The drop in temperature will bring some sunshine as well and lots of clear skies this weekend.”

Many communities across the province set new record highs this week when temperatures climbed well into the 20’s Celsius.
