The Nova Scotia Mass Casualty Commission reconvened today, over a month after their final day of proceedings.

The purpose was to mark 2036 documents as exhibits, including seven related to the recordings of the April 28th, 2020 meeting between RCMP Commissioner Brenda Lucki and other RCMP officials.

The recordings are the focus of allegations of political interference in the aftermath of the shooting in April 2020. They were released last week.

In the recordings, Lucki said a minister requested she share the details of the weapons used and communicated her disappointment that the information was not released.

The commission is now focused on preparing their final report, which will be shared publicly by March 31st of next year.
