Some union members at two regional centres for education plan to strike this week.
They include ECE’s, student support workers, office administrators and IT specialists.
Members of the NSGEU Local 73 in the Annapolis Valley will hit the picket-lines this morning.
South Shore Local 70-members are planning strike action tomorrow morning.
The unions say people who do the same jobs are paid differently, depending on which centre for education they work for, and that has to change.
They say parents who rely on school support workers should make alternate plans.
Strike begins 8am for members of Local 73-support workers at the AVRCE. If you're in the valley, come out & show your support. Picket lines in Windsor,New Minas, Kingston,Berwick, Annapolis Royal.
