Lunenburg District RCMP are investigating a serious collision on Hwy. 3 in Rhodes Corner.

Around 6:45 p.m. last night police, fire and EHS responded to a report of a single vehicle crash. They learned a blue Chevrolet Silverado was travelling on Hwy. 3 when it left the roadway, rolled and came to rest back on the road.

Police say the driver, a 36-year-old Bridgewater man, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital by Lifeflight.

The passenger of the vehicle, a 33-year-old Dartmouth woman, suffered injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance.

The RCMP say the investigation is ongoing.
