Phil Schram is a candidate seeking to become a councillor with the township of Chapple.
Here are the answers to the questions we asked.
Why are you running for office?
I have been in office for four years. I enjoy working with council, making decisions and solving problems.
What are the main issues do you see your community facing over the next four years?
We have a big problem with health care, senior care where there is a shortage of workers.
How would you tackle those issues?
A committee should be formed to look at senior care problem and doctor recruitment.
What qualities or qualifications can you bring to the position?
I have started a committee to work to keep our museum open and would be willing to fundraise for this and other projects.
