YQM Country Fest Returning To Dieppe, N.B.

By Tara Clow Oct 21, 2022 | 10:03 AM

It’s official: Another YQM Country Fest will be held in 2023 in Dieppe, N.B.

Promoter Sam Bourgeois made the announcement Friday morning, along with naming four of the main acts for the upcoming show.

Next year’s shows will include Saturday night headliner Thomas Rhett — it’s his first time in Atlantic Canada.

Other artists announced include Cole Swindell, Gabby Barrett, and Nate Smith.

“We have been working on some of these bands for a long time. We have been trying to get Thomas Rhett down here for multiple years now. These are artists on top of the charts constantly,” Bourgeois says.

He adds details on a Friday night headliner and other artists are coming soon.

The two-day music festival was first held in August, bringing acts including Blake Shelton — and special guest Gwen Stefani — along with Florida Georgia Line.

This year’s show brought around 20,000 people to the MusiquArt site in Dieppe.

Bourgeois is hoping to an even bigger crowd at next year’s show, which will take place on Aug. 25 and 26.

Tickets are on sale now with more information on the YQM Country Fest website or Facebook page.
