Recall: Bed Head TIGI, Dove and Tresemmé Dry Shampoo

Better check your bathroom cupboards for some of these items.

The federal government is recalling certain aerosol canned products from Bed Head TIGI, Dove and Tresemmé Dry Shampoo for containing Benzene. This chemical is classified as a human carcinogen.

The recall notice details that exposure to benzene can occur by inhalation, orally, and through the skin and it can result in cancers including leukemia and blood cancer of the bone marrow and blood disorders which can be life-threatening. Since Oct. 7, there have been no reports of any injuries or incidents related to the recalled products.
