Yarmouth’s businesses will be recognized this week.

The Yarmouth and Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting their annual business awards this Thursday.

The Chamber has released some of this year’s nominees on their Facebook page.

Some of the awards include small business of the year, tourism business of the year and young entrepreneur.

There’s also a new award just for this year called the Resiliency Award, which recognizes the efforts it took to overcome the challenges presented by COVID-19.

The Chamber has introduced three Peoples Choice Awards for Community Champion, Best Place to Eat and Best Place to Shop.
