The Fort Frances Muskies football team lost on Friday, 35-3, to Kildonan East.

The International Falls Broncos lost to Rush City on Friday 52-20

The Broncos swim and dive team finished seventh at the Section 7A True Team Section meet in Hibbing.

Rainy River Voyageurs women’s volleyball team fell in three games on Saturday to Alexandria Technical & Community College.

Scores were 15-25, 12-25 and 13-25.

Nolan Ross of Fort Frances scored his first of the season for the French team, the Morzine-Avoriaz Penguins, in a 4-3 loss to Epinal in the French D1 League.

His brother, Davis Ross, assisted on the marker for his point of the season.

Borderland Jiu Jitsu’s head instructor Jagger Lockman finished second at the Abu Dhabi Jiu Jitsu Pro Canadian Nationals held in Niagara Falls on the weekend.

He lost in the final by submission in the 77 kg professional brown belt division.

Lockman is ranked fourth in Canada and number 20 in North America.
