A Kenora man wanted in connection to an assault in Dryden last month has been arrested.

On September 25th OPP and Northwest EMS responded to a report of an assault. One individual was located and taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police issued an arrest warrant for a 23-year-old man from Kenora on the charges of aggravated assault and robbery with a weapon. On Saturday members of the Sioux Lookout OPP detachment located the accused within that municipality.

He was remanded into custody to appear before the regional bail court on Thursday.
