If your looking for a good treasure hunt, Halifax is the place to be this weekend.

The city is hosting another curbside giveaway.

It’s a chance to declutter your home or find some new things for your place.

There’s an interactive map where you can log where you live or what you find.

Just remember to pull your stuff from the curb on Sunday night if it’s not picked up.

Some other events coming up to keep in mind include:

Information sessions – Swap, share, thrift, and repair: a guide to sharing/borrowing/repairing in the municipality

The municipality’s Solid Waste team is partnering with the Halifax Public Libraries to offer the following in-person information sessions:

Shredding documents is a great way to protect against identity theft. There is a limit of the equivalent of three boxes per household. Residential only, no business waste accepted.

This is a contactless event. When you arrive, please stay in your vehicle and pop your trunk when directed. Our on-site team will take your materials to the shredder. For more information, visit Halifax Recycles on Facebook or email wasteless@halifax.ca
