The next phase of work for the Haley Road multi-use trail project in Yarmouth is underway.

The Town of Yarmouth says it involves an upgrade of the intersection at Starrs Road and Hardscratch Road which is causing some changes.

The town is advising people of the following important traffic information:

• Starting Monday October 17th, the Haley Road/Hardscratch Road/Starrs Road intersection will operate as a 4-WAY STOP from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Traffic Control will be in place at the intersection to direct traffic.
• The Home Hardware and Airport stretch slip lanes will be closed, depending on location of work crews.
• The expected time for completion of this work is 4 weeks.
• Additional updates on changes to traffic control or other closures will be provided as needed.
