A man with a cast on his leg robbed a convenience store and took off on his bike on Sunday night.

It happened at the Needs on Chebucto in Halifax just after 11:00 p.m.

Police say he was after money and cigarettes.

He did not get any cash but took some smokes, hopped on his bicycle and took off.
