Diesel and heating oil prices continue to climb higher in New Brunswick.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board invoked its interrupter clause Thursday night.

The price for diesel jumped by 7.1 cents to a new maximum of $2.29 per litre.

Diesel now costs you 35 cents per litre more than it did just over a week ago.

Heating oil also went up by seven cents and is now selling for a maximum of $2.05 per litre.

Gasoline and propane prices remain unchanged. The most you are paying for regular self-serve is $1.67 per litre.
