Thunder Bay Police are asking the public and motorists to avoid a section in the city’s south side.
The areas affected include sections of Donald Street East, Syndicate Avenue South, Simpson Street/Arthur Street East and May Street South.
This is due to an ongoing police investigation occurring in the area at this time.
Witnesses say several TBPS and Superior North EMS vehicles are in the area and some area businesses are locked down.
