The number of those without power after Fiona is now below eight thousand.
Nova Scotia Power crews remain busy restoring the hardest-hit areas of the storm, which slammed into our province 11 days ago.
The utility says the majority of restorations are now single outages that affect one customer.
They say several crews and several hours are needed in some cases.
Some restoration times are as late as this weekend in areas like Antigonish, Colchester and Cumberland counties.
Crews continue to work in the evening and through the night on restoring power to our customers in the hardest-hit communities in the northeast part of the province.#NSStorm pic.twitter.com/6ZRghZwXel
