A Winnipeg man is facing impaired driving charges following an incident in Fort Frances last Wednesday.

Acting on a public complaint, OPP stopped a vehicle on Kings Highway just after 11 p.m. that night.

The 28-year-old driver was placed under arrested and taken to the detachment for further testing.

Brandon Whalen was later released and will appear at a Fort Frances court room later this month to answer to the charges.
