Two days of beautiful weather for street hockey over the weekend in Yarmouth.

The J-Strong Cup returned with sixteen teams in youth and adult divisions, with the winners getting to hoist the Cup on Sunday at Mariners Centre.

Saturday, a section of Main Street was closed for the tournament.

Organizer Steve Berry says the volunteers helped make this happen.

“Anything we ever ask the community, people are always stepping up and are ready to help when needed. It’s very much appreciated, because we couldn’t do this without them,” says Berry.

The Yarmouth Mariners even took part in a street hockey game on Sunday.

Berry thanked the volunteers for helping set-up Main Street, keeping score and more.

He says the J-Strong Foundation is already looking ahead to 2023.
